We made the sugar cookies from scratch and then they pressed the dough into the pan.
Everyone was hard at work spreading the frosting, which was also made from scratch.
Putting on the finishing touches.
Showing off their cookies. I asked them to hold up their cookies and Daniel proceeded to pretend to eat it.
Onto the coloring of the eggs. We made a dozen eggs and they were colored in no time. When we said there wasn't anymore, they decided to recolor some of the eggs.
Easter Morning haul.
We went to the MN Zoo so we could see the farm babies. This time it was pretty nice out and there was no snow to be found which surprises me considering the awfully cold spring we've had. Our first stop was this play area. There is a replica of the Split Rock Lighthouse, but I didn't get a picture of the kids in it. I guess there's always next time.
We're tigers... ROAR!
Natalie walked the whole way on the wall and Daniel decided he didn't want to.
These piglets were the cutest little things. They weren't very old and there was a lot of them.
The kids switched roles in this picture. Do you see what I mean? No? Ok, I'll tell you. Daniel is smiling, and Natalie, well... isn't. In fact, she's hiding behind the cup.
